Some slow lumbering giant guy from the ukraine can take out Toney with only a jab?? I think we watch one too many Lewis and Klitskho rounds and people are delusion about how good Lewis really is.

He better come with more than that. Look at the Jirov fight and tell me if Toney look tired or really hurt in that fight. Jirov thru everything he could and was throwing up to 100 punches in a round in that fight. toney look like he could go for 15 rounds.

Toney would only lose if he gets hurt again.

Toney is a great great fighter, one of the best ever I believe. He will not beat VK though. Its fun to poke at just the size difference, but its not the fact that VK is so much taller than Toney, but the fact that VK is VERY VERY good at using his size to his advantage. If we were talking Toney vs Valuev, then sure, size does not matter.

Like it or not, VK has out boxed every fighter he has faced except Lewis which was very close. He knows how to use his size, he is paced well, and does not take risks. VK is calm in the ring as well, so not much chance of a mental meltdown.

Throw out the steriods for a minute and look at the Ruiz vs Toney fight. Ruiz was fighting a terrible style yet the fight was still close. Toney won, no doubt, but if we just look at skill vs skill then the fight should of been a wash for Toney. Fact is he has lost something moving up in weight. He lost his speed and does not pack a fight ending punch.

If VK comes back close to his old self after surgery, he will be able to beat this verson of Toney. Vitali will use his size to keep Toney at bay and his strength when Toney does slip inside. I give Toney all the credit in the world if he makes this fight happen, because this could be his last fight

If this fight ever happens... I'll bet all the points I've got on Vitali Klitscho.

I would consider this fight a complete miss-match!

Vitali would eat James Toney alive!!!

In my eye's, (and the majority of resonable boxing fans) Vitali IS the heavyweight champion of the World.

If Toney was able to beat Vitali... That would be amazing!

This wouldn't be a fake RJJ moving up to Heavyweight to fight a paper champ in Ruiz (Whilst Lennox Lewis was active!).

Toney beating Vitali would be Bob Fitzsimmons time!!!

Klicthko's skills are raw and the only reason he does so well is because he's very effective using his size and strength, if someone can unlock his style i think he's beatable because i doubt he can adapt.

Whether Toney has the style to beat Klitchko is up for debate but getting past that jab will be a big problem for him.

I wanna know how Oleg got into the mix. Has he been on a roll recently fighting bums in basements?

How many of Klitchko fights went to points, 1?
Thus a chances that any of his/their fights will go to points are slim to none.

                    2 things happen...
1 - Most likely K-O wins by KO
2 - They collapse out of exhaustion

And aside from his top career wins over Donald, Johnson, and Sanders; how many of his opponents that he KO'd were worth half a damn?

What good is a 96% KO ratio when it's made up almost entirely of fringe contenders and German club fighters?
