    I was surprised to hear this fight was going to happen. Perez is a tough customer who is non stop, I do think though that Mares has more skill than Perez as a natural boxer.

    If he fights smart he can pull this one out. It will be tough because Perez is very good but Mares needs to use movement and good defense on the inside to get this win.

    Can't wait to see this match up.

            For a Bantamweight, that is tall. Maybe not Williams like, but it's tall for the division.

            The only other fighter who comes close is Anslemo Moreno, and I think they are very close in height. Everyone else is noticeably smaller.

            EDIT: Bakhtin and Valdez are tall as well.

                I know it's tall, but not Paul Williams tall..

                5'10" is Paul Williams tall.
