I believe this is my cue to give props to Khan for his excellent performance last night. I'm still not entirely convinced by his "greatness" (as he keeps referring to it), but his speed is something else and his composure was well kept. I wasn't supporting him on the night, but I came out of it with that same appreciation for his talent as I've always had. The kid is good. Very good.

However, I don't agree that he should have a tune-up. Why? He's a beltholder and needs to defend it against highly ranked/regarded challengers instead of some lesser opponent in the UK. The way I see it, his only options at 140 are Ortiz, Maidana, Bradley or Alexander. IMO he isn't ready for the latter 2, but the former 2 should be well within his sights. He can do the job on them.

I always said he would win easily/convincingly but I think it proved to some of his doubters that he's actually pretty good.

I think he deserves props for beating a supposedly rejuvenated Paulie, in his backyard and his first fight in the States. He also didn't bad mouth Paulie after the fight which deserves props too.

You have to give him serious props - particularly the manner in which it was done. Khan has a bright, bright future.

Agree man, I was very impressed. Although I wouldn't favor him to beat Alexander or Bradley; he has the capabilities to beat those two.
