How much credit will you give Khan for beating Malignaggi?

Yes, he's a ranked contender who's won a title or 2, but he's not that dangerous acid test in Maidana. If Khan batters him Salita-style, what will be the thoughts of the boxing public? Some credit, full credit or none whatsoever...?

Full credit - Malignaggi poses a huge risk.

Some credit - Malignaggi is a ranked contender.

No credit at all - Khan is still a glass-jawed hypejob.

malignaggi is a solid fighter but what stops me from giving khan full credit is the fact that his weakness is for big punchers and paulie is not that. in order for me to be truly impressed with khan i would have to see him beat a real ko puncher like maidana

Malignaggi has a good jab and a big mouth. Khan is gonna hurt him bad but Malignaggi has some skill but not enough pop to back Khan off. Khan by KO in 8-9 rds

If Khan is able to hurt Paulie as bad as Hatton did, maybe Khan wasn't joking about stopping the guido.

          depends on how.

If he crushes him and knocks him out, obviously the man should get a lot of credit..

If he squeaks by or coasts to a decision, then eh, it's a decent win nothing big.

Malignaggi is a good boxer and a top 5 -10 junior welterweight.

I will give Khan some credit but really, Paulie stylistically is an easy fight for Khan.

If he stops Paulie, i will give him more credit as Paulie is tough and has proved to have a good chin.

He should thank high-hell he is Italian, us Italians all have great chins. Doesn't mean we can't be stopped or hurt, but our chins are probably our best assets. I think our jaw-bones are built very good. Maybe I'm making a stereotype but I noticed alot of Italian fighters have good chins. Cotto fought a couple of Italians and they all had beards and he stopped one Italian when he clipped their arm or or something. Also Calzaghe, and Marciano also showed great beards. Calzaghe was put down in like 4 of his fights but wasn't too hurt and got back up to win those fights.

Can't wait to see this fight.
It would be interesting to see Khan beats Malignaggi via an impressive win. I don't know how much credit any boxing fan could give to Roach if that happens.
Otherwise, forget about this post. A Malignaggi win could make Khan start all over again.

not TOO much credit. Paulie should take an absolute thrashing in this fight. If he manages to do more then that i'd be impressed. But not much more Khan can do to this guy.
