Oscar De La Hoya vs Julio Cesar Chavez Sr.

I would like if you guys answer this question. You see when JCC was in his prime I wasn't even born yet,I don't know 90% of the boxers he fought. So based on the records which one of them has/had the better record resume(fought better opposition, biggest wins etc.) and whose have the best accomplishments during their carers between Oscar De La Hoya and Julio Cesar Chavez Sr.

    Thanks!

Both fighter had their own different styles and their own legacies, i didn't see much of chavez either but have seen some of his fights and read about him. He was a great fighter, Dela Hoya has been said to have followed in chavez's foot steps but with his own style and different kind of game that he brings to the ring. Chavez's chapter is closed and although he kept making comebacks his recent fights are not the reflections of his greatness, Delahoya is still in the game what remains to be seen is that how he closes the show.

I used to love watching Chavez when I was young, but I just rechecked their respective records and De La Hoya has the better credentials.
                  Both hall of famers.
Chavez by SD if they had met at lightweight.

                    Chavez, by a wide margin.
