Come folks think about this one.. The reason why the fight DID NOT get signed in March was due to it being TOOO early for Pac after his last fight in Nov. and Floyd needing a bigger bout other then his last fight against Marquez..


All this negotiation crap is BS.. Each fighters plan was to bank on as many fights before they both have to meet other.. Cause really whats left after Floyd and Pac fight each.. Who else is their for each fighter? NO OTHER THEN EACH OTHER.. So their just trying to cash in on as many fights before Floyd and Pac can actually meet in the ring..

Excellent date...just make sure that it doesn't conflict with MLB playoffs to maximize PPV buys.

But why should Floyd take a fight inbetween...Pac laid out Hatton on May 2nd 2009.....fought Cotto Nov. 14, 2009....I don't see a problem with Floyd not fighting in-between.

Mayweather hasn't faced a southpaw since Zab Judah. Alot of these dudes aren't in Mayweather's level at 147, probably nobody is. It's up to Floyd I guess, but I'd face a southpaw in between.

Bob Arum has been promoting fights long before most of us were even born. It seems like the promotion for Pac v May started when they "couldn't agree to OST terms" and the fights (SSM and Clottey) were further promotional tools for the fight everyone wants to see. If so It's a materful job of promoting by Arum and GBP because casual SPORTS fans NOT just casual boxing fans have an opinion on the testing and on the fight.

Thats a long way from now. Good date but Mayweather should get a fight in between.

He just fought May 1. Why would he get a fight in between now and November. Am I missing something because that is only 6 months and makes no sense.
