The fight appears to be taking place in Germany, but Klitschko does not rule out the chance of fighting in England. [Click Here To Read More]

That doesn't mean that size is of no importance. If that were the case we wouldn't have weight divisions.

In the past, no really huge heavyweights were athletic enough to make their size count. But modern diets and modern training methods have started to produce very large heavyweights who are also very athletic and skilled, for the first time in boxing history. Lewis was arguably the first such. The Klitschkos continue that trend.

And Tunney's posts on the subject cherry pick what size in this context means. It's not just weight and reach, it's a combination of height, weight, and reach (all three must be present) that allow an athletic fighter with a good jab, footwork and timing to prevent even a much more talented small fighter from ever being able to get within range.

Second time now - yes I did read it, and nowhere does it explicitly state that Haye has officially been given permission to undertake a voluntary defence. Wlad says he has, but like I said before I'll believe the WBA over him - however corrupt they are. Otherwise, when they give Haye the green light, I'll start coming around to the idea.

Haye is a joke at HW. Reminds me a lot of when RJJ went up there and said he could beat Lewis etc...Sure he could pick off a weak HW champ, but theres no way you can beat a Klitchko or a Lennox when you are that size and not some sort of freak athlete. Haye has done what he wanted, he won a world heavyweight title. I dont think he will ever fight a Klitschko. He knows he cant beat either one of them, just like Jones knew he couldnt beat Lewis. So he will talk, get some publicity etc...and then disappear/retire/or move back down to cruiser etc...I dont think you ever see him fight a Klitschko, but who cares, it would have been a massacre anyways.

It is simple. He talked alot of stuff to the klitschko's and he ate alot of jabs from a b at best fighter in ruiz. If klitshcko hits this guy with more than a dozen jabs you will see a beaten fighter by the end of round one. Wlad will knot this man up and he will not know what to do fighting a big dude with skills, experience, athletic skills ,speed, power the list goes on and on. Hayes resume really and truly sucks. He wont be able to throw those lunging shot and hit the klitchko's. If he tries he will look like a fool. My prediction is wlad by ko in the 4th.

Why are you so su****ious? The WBA's own rules make it clear that unifications generally take precedence over mandatories provided they are given reasonable notice; plus it's very unusual for the WBA to require any of their champions to fight two mandatories in a row with no voluntary defence in between. And Wlad specifically stated that Haye has been given permission by the WBA to have a voluntary defence, so unless I see a denial from Haye's camp, I see no reason why he would make that up.

And Adam Booth generally does respond very quickly when boxingscene write anything about Haye that he disagrees with, so if there's no response from Booth in the next 24 hours or so, I think it's fair to take it as confirmed.

OK. Let's say skeptical, rather than su****ious. With the mess that the WBA has allowed to happen in the past (i.e. the Valuev-Chagaev situation last year), I tend not to accept their word - or words purported to be from them - as gospel. Pinch of salt stuff. I want to believe that the fight is on the way to being made, and am not being difficult for the hell of it.

I'll be more than happy to be proven wrong.

Either Klit wins via KO, but Haye doesnt want any of the brothers Klit. I'll eat my shoe if he even signs

I want the fight to happen (but yuck my shoes are gross)
