But, lets all not forget...Hatton landed some huge bombs and malagnaggi just wouldnt go down...he has a great chin.....
I think its possible khan could just overload him with good punches, khan is a great finisher and i think people overlook that, his accuracy (maybe not great in the kotelnik fight because all kotelnik does is cover his face with 2 arms) but he is very accurate...and with the speed..
I cant wait to see this fight, i think its khans chance to break through, and test his defense (maybe not against huge punches, but any punches)
I still cant imagine khan going 12 rounds with Alexander or Bradley atm....I think that defense still needs work!
And we still havnt seen how good his chin really is now at this weight...its obviously going to be better then at lightweightComment

Let's disregard the silly KO stuff for now. Most likely this fight is going the distance, but how will it be handled? Unfortunately, I have my fears...
Like in the Diaz fights, we've got GBP promoting and the scalp of one of their biggest stars up for grabs. Surely even in New York they won't let Malignaggi get a decision over their newest boy, if he were to shockingly outbox him?
I dont think the fight be close enough for Malignaggi to claim fix.Comment

You say that but both Ngoudjo & Hatton were able to hurt him pretty bad, i dont see a stoppage but its not outta the question either, Khan does have power when he decides to sit down on his shots imo.

I wasn't saying that a stoppage is out of the question. I just meant for the sake of this argument alone - that if the fight goes the distance - Malignaggi is unlikely to get a fair deal even if he seemingly dominates the match. I purposely wanted people to disregard KOs, glass chins and pillow fists for a moment.
If it is that close then no he probably want, also Malignaggi does not do a great job of making it clear that he winning rounds, he wins rounds by jabbing a lot and moving, now if Khan is looking like **** but coming foward then he might still get the verdict.
Paulie's only chance is a KO because his chances of outboxing Khan are just as remote imo.Comment

And when people talk about Khan being outboxed, they need to take an objective step back and remember that he has only ever lost via KO, and not a decision. It's likely that he's never even been far behind - or behind at all - on any scorecards.
I very much doubt that New Yorkers would riot in the same way for Malignaggi as they did for Bowe-Golota I. :laff2: At the most they'll just boo Khan out of the building.Comment
