Not to be funny but I truly believe that guy has boxing confused with streetfighter or mortal kombat....thinking you need 4-5 punch combos following by a special move for it to be considered "setting up punches"

My point is that I thought he did improve from the first fight to the second fight.
The first fight JMM clearly won more rounds. The only only reason it was debatable was cuz Pac got into a huge lead from the first two rounds. If you score that just who won the most rounds in that fight without the point system then JMM clearly won the fight. The only reason it is close is cuz of the point system.
But, the rematch, if you just count who won more rounds. You would see it became a lot closer then the first. Just by counting who won more rounds. Again I think Pac won cuz of the point system.
But, if you just count who won more rounds in the first fight to the rematch. You would see that Pac did do better in the rematch. Could be that he did improve somewhat.Comment

IMO the Hatton example proves that Pac does not setup his punches.....
he hit Hatton with a lead "no-look hook" whilst Hatton was coming forward with his hands low to load up on one of his own shots.
In the Cotto fight Pac was amazing.....
but moving in and unloading combinations is not setting up your punches.
The 3rd / 4th punches will be the ones that land, as-is usually the case with punches-in-bunches, but he does not create openings for a pre-determined attack.
For example, say your opponent is vulnerable to a left hook because he hangs his right hand out there..... Pac won't set up the hook behind a jab/bob, or move/feint to create the opening.
It's his style, he can usually just blow you outa there.
Getting to Mayweather will be a huge problem, because..... that is Mayweathers style.Comment

I understand were you are coming from, but paulie said he never sets up punches. Just off the top of my head I named two instances proving what he said was wrong. Thats like me saying Floyd never puts combos together. All someone has to do is point out his earlier fights, then what I just said is refuted.
I mean to be honest, these same professional boxers and world trainers claim Floyd is a runner. I know enought about boxing to know that Floyd never runs, and only moves to put himself in spots he's most effective. The reason I can come to this conclusion is because I do my best to look at things for what they really are, on top of watching fights over and over again. Am I an expert, far from it, but I always try to form my opinion on what I see and not what someone tells me (I pay attention to what they say, but it's not the deciding factor on things).Comment

Gotta love Paulie he just speaks the truth without any remorse or fear of recourse. Bottom line Mayweather made Mosley look bad by neutralizing him, had nothing to do with age and Pac needs to take those tests and give us the fight of the century. Its only going to get worse and worse with more people growing su****ious of him. The general belief is that he's hiding something and no clean athlete allows themselves to be tarnished when all other elite athletes are going above and beyond willingly to prove themselves in an era flooded by designer drugs. If this was Mayweather he would deserve to be called out too and their would have been a non stop witch hunt for him by the media. Pac is lucky he's a media darling.Comment

I agree... 100% great post, you should get green k.
But, what I am saying is don't give me this well look how Pac struggled at the lower weights and now is KO'ing fools at the bigger weights bull****. Because, there have been ATG fighters in the past that have done the same thing that Pac is doing.Comment

You didn't consider the "never" to be an hyperbole? I did.I understand were you are coming from, but paulie said he never sets up punches. Floyd really isn't a combination puncher any longer. If you said as much, you'd have a valid stance.
I've personally never heard any world class, respectable trainer claim Floyd was a "runner". You usually here that mess from analyst and fans.Comment
