the trick of making weight is to move up to that division knowing u walk around in the weight class anyways... more focus on training rather than diet..

The weight you walk around at is a weight of a body thats untrained. Once you begin training and get into shape your weight will be lower. Hardly any pro fighter or Ncaa wrestler competes at his "walking around" weight. And you never "move up" in weight, it's always down!

i understand what you mean about moving to the next division, but if you walk around at, let's say, 150. If you train correctly, you should come down to 147 or 140. NOW if you want to come UP a division higher? You can. But it doesn't mean your at your natural weight. I hope you understand what I mean.

Example: Roy Jones fought at 168, 175, then challenged Ruiz for the HW Championship of the World. Was that Roy's weight? NO. He fought a sub-par fighter for the HW Championship and won. But Roy walks around, without training, at around 190 to 200 LBS.
