Duran beats Floyd at 135. I don't care what nobody says. Duran beats him. I know a lot of people are high of a recent big win but he ain't ****ing with Duran at 135.
However, at 147 Duran was passed his prime. So I would give Floyd the edge at 147.

you know i agree with this....but something Jeff mayweather said got my attention. He said he thought Floyd could "would" have beaten Duran becuase he fights the way Leonard did in the second fight all the time......interesting thought.

Duran's body of work at 35 prob proves he is the kingpin of that division all time.....but head to head i would favour sweet pea to beat him.

Now if you want to say Floyd is passed prime. That is fine I can see why you would say that. But, Duran was not in his prime at WW he was passed it by the time he got there.

That is why even though Hearns KO'd him in 2 rounds ans SRL beat him and Hagler beating and Benitez beating him at WW and above still don't rank ahead of Duran? Because, Duran was passed it by the time he got there. Passed it not in his prime.

Floyd at 135 never fought anybody as good as Ken Buchanan. He just didn't. And Dejesus is about even as Castillo? I think that could be argued. I have yet seen a fighter like Duran at LW. Dude was special. Too much of a beast.
If you think Duran was past it at 147, but Floyd is prime at 147, there is something wrong with you.

I know, it's like talking boxing with roller derby fans, not worth the effort.

Floyd beats Duran at 147 by wide UD. If Floyd fought Duran after the first Castillo fight I think he wins. If he fights him before then Duran wins. I think Floyd learned at lot from the first Castillo fight.

And, don't you dare bring up the Castillo fight.

Ape **** man ape ****. Do you remember how he went ape **** on Victoriano Sosa? The great Victoriano Sosa.

ape **** on Duran at 135.

Duran at 135 could not **** with these fighters.
