i dont know who i would take in this one i could see mayweather being too sharp for williams and picking him apart in a more dominant version of what quintana did to him in the first fight but then i think about how williams would more then likely eat those punches and fire 8-10 back in return and then i could see williams outworking him to a ud or split dec. great fight if pac mayweather doesnt happen this fight or a fight with martinez would be great replacements. also now that mayweather has named martinez as a possible opponent the idea that williams doesnt have a big enough name to fight floyd is not a good excuse from team mayweather.Last edited by ny123; 05-05-2010, 10:15 PM.Comment

pwill's height and reach will be a problem for both pac and pbf. pwill's volume punching will out point floyd. pac is just too small.Comment

A lot of good posts here already on this subject. Williams learnt from the first fight and won the 2nd one clearly. He is much more experienced now due to that fight with Quintana.
I personally like P. Williams since he comes to fight every time. What I mean is, depending on his opponent of course, Williams makes exciting fights!Comment

There was no fluke about it-Both Carlos and Sergio fought Williams in similar fashion.Even the commentators had mentioned that Sergio fought just like Quintana...weird that people don't understand this...I also believe Quintana and Sergio are both southpaws (so is Williams),which suggests that maybe Williams has problems fighting people who are similar stance. To his credit,he avenged his loss, but I believe Sergio did enough to win...good close fight.Comment

Floyd would smoke Williams.
If they ever fought i imagine Floyd would fight on the inside and box in the pocket. I dont see Williams long rangy arms doing much besides rolling off the shoulders.Comment

Floyd would have an easier time than Manny would, based on styles.Comment
