The man did beat Clottey in a very rough match with a horriable cut over his left eye and did enough in the late rounds to pull out a victory. Not exactly the kind of stuff shot fighters do at the end of their careers.

See you guys can't have it both ways because nobody was calling Cotto shot till after the Pac fight. Lets also not forget Cotto was the most competative of Pac's last 4 fights. Explain this to me if he was out of it like you said?

Btw there was just over 1 year in between Cotto getting beaten badly by Margs then getting beat by Pac.

And nobody would have minded had he did the right thing and took on someone else who hadn't just had his ass handed to him by a club fighter. They may have had an agreement but was anything officially signed?

No!! who the *** does that?

"With the loss to Baldomir, it appeared that Judah's much anticipated bout with Mayweather was off, but Judah's promoter Don King and Mayweather's promoter Bob Arum reworked the deals so the fight would go on. Mayweather was scheduled to earn a minimum $6 million while Judah was to earn $3 million plus a percentage of the profits, but because of Judah's loss, Mayweather earned a minimum $5 million while Judah was guaranteed $1 million plus a percentage of profits above $7 million.[1] The fight took place on April 8, 2006, at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas"

And he took major punishment from Torres, Corley, Judah, all before he took a severe beating from Margarito.

Roach and Pac wanted Mosley to beat Floyd so they could make Pacquaio-Mosley.

Just because one fighter ducked every top fighter in his weight class for 5 years it doesn't Pac ducked Mosley when he fought Cotto instead.

Exactly man. All those fighters HURT Miguel. Miguel fought like a champ and won, but that stuff takes alot out of a fighter, that is how the game goes.
