Even now in the other thread Roach is saying Floyd has lost a step , is flatfooted and cant punch at WW , then he says the fight will be on ,,, Roach is like always looking for when he sees an advantage he doesnt like even fair ground , its like he dont want Manny in with a legit fighter unless he sees them slip in there previous fight , or he trained them saying they cant pull the trigger any more and are ready to be taken , or he sucks their weight down , there is always some special thing in Mannys big fights that goes his way .

Seriously it's only in hindsight that you guys come up with this **** it's never before the fight. And if Cotto Vs Pac was at the expense of the boxing fan's then boxing fans must not like to see Pac in a competative boxing matche where his opponent is actually fighting back unlike the Oscar and hatton blow outs.

Cotto took a beating. Mosley didn't. Ridiculous comparison. And I had plenty to say about the 145 catch weight as well as Cotto not looking impressive in his previous fight. Even Freddiy Roach said Cotto was not the same fighter. That's saying something.

And that is what separates Manny from Cotto. My point is, Cotto is a ruined fighter. He was on his way after he left 140 and the Tony beating sealed it. That is my point. Manny has been in wars, but he has NEVER taken a beating like the one Tony gave Cotto and Tony may have been cheating in the process. That says ALOT man.

No thats your opinion and there is no way you can prove any of that. Like I stated before *****s have been coming up with the same excuses for every single one of pac's last 4 opponents. Oscar was old and weight drained, Hatton was past it, Cotto past it, Clotty suddenly ****** despite being a solid champion and contender for years. lets also not forget all the ridiculous steroid talk. Logic tells me that at this point Manny's success has more to do with Manny's talent and less to do with any excuse these mosquito brain ***** fans can come up with.

My opinion lines up with a few others on this board. How about you make a thread and ask the boxing scene people if Miguel was prime when he faced Manny. Now, Miguel was a good opponent for him (although they should have fought at 147), but to say that Miguel was prime is a stretch.

Your comparing a fight which happened in 2007 which was fairly close.. to a fight in 2008 were Cotto got the **** beat out of him? Cotto beat Shane he certainly didn't put a huge beating on him like Margaritto did to Cotto

Actual solid evidence? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to follow Miguel's career and SEE that the punishment he took before fighting Tony AND after fighting Tony ruined him. SMH. And for the record, JMM has NEVER taken a beating like the one Tony gave Cotto. Let's cut the nonsense.

The difference is Mayweather already had an agreement to fight Judah before he lost to Baldomir. He didn't seek him out after he lost. Big difference.
