In both these fights, you had 2 groups of fans who are crazy loud and enthusiastic. I love watching those fights because unlike a Hatton fight, if Hatton is losing, the place gets quiet and the vibe dies down.
Pac/Marquez crowd is underrated. Even at the weigh in

Pac-Marquez I, is the way better example - that was genuine frenzied mayhem and bedlam.

La Battalia atmosphere was loud, but in a heavily G.A.Y. way - it was basically a ***dance.

Atmosphere at a ton of British fights (not just Hatton ones) owns that ****.

exactly, true ATMOSPHERE is created by TWO sides, not just one really loud fanbase.

There is no set formula for atmosphere, you just made that up.
Whether created by 2 opposing sides of fans or a partisan crowd, atmosphere is atmosphere - period.

You ever seen Benn-McClellan? Everyone in that venue wanted G-Man carried out like he (sadly) was. Does that onesidedness make it less of an atmosphere?

Watch some fights that take place on British or non-US soil.

              No way.

Dirrell-Abraham was insane. You cut the tension with a knife.

Agree both those fights had great atmosphere. But I think fights in the USA lack the atmosphere of UK and Irish fights, when Bernard Dunne fought Cordoba in Dublin there was thunderous noise throughout the whole bout, you could hardly hear the bell. And when he got up of the canvas three times to knock him out the place literally erupted.

In the states the crowds only seem to make noise at certain points in the fight whereas over here crowds make noise throughout the whole bout.

                    I'd pick Froch-Pascal, among others.

Most people are gonna pick the fights they were actually at, TBF.

                      There you go, right there.

Dunne-Cordoba atmosphere absolutely takes a crap on La Battalia, whether everybody was rooting for the same guy or not.
