Well I always maintained that One man's feast is another man's poison, to each his own. All top athletes can do it, yeah one can ask why not Manny?

And believe me, you'll flip (or somewhat i think you know already) that Manny's very very as in very superstitious, he does the same things very consistently (rides the same car, lives with guys in 1 apartment in LA everytime he fights, sleep on the floor, including the blood drawn from the Morales fight one day before the fight? even, and many others) for me it's ridiculous.

But what can we do, if a man has faith (FAITH is something one can't see and sometimes don't understand, but for some reason they believe in it) and because of how he was brought up with that kind of belief, then no one can refute it. They can criticize, but they can never take it away, his FAITH that is, from him.

I never commented on Manny refusing $40M outta principle, but faith can take you in ridiculous situations and predicaments, Manny's predicament is prolly the hardest one can be right now.
