i agree, i think by mid fight floyds offensive was sick and just kept shane from being able to do anything. his is so sharp and fast shane couldnt keep up. and when shane was able to move back or away and make floyd miss a couple of shots floyd had him out of position to even open up.Amay. The short answer to your question is the stiff left jab. That is what Floyd primarily used to negate the over hand right of Shane's. It made Shane have to reset, plus Floyd was dropping a right behind it from time to time to make Shane leary of the 1-2 combo.
however, shane being gassed at round 3 and gasping in round 6 and on is a sign of detorioration. who ever saw afighter or shane gassed in 3 rounds...?
no excuses, no copouts, but it is what it is.
as i stated i think floyd wins this no matter what up to 4 years ago.
7 years ago we would have had a fight of the year candidate.Comment

Ok, let's cut the crap. U get punched in the stomach, you lose wind, Fact. U miss loaded shots and get frustrated fatigue sets in... u get tired, Fact. Shane Mosley at 39 ALMOST took Floyd out in 2..Fact. He did not have what it took to win. He had 10 rounds after that round to do somthing, and didn't. He was in shape and also had secret weapon Almighty Brother Naazeem leading the way, and still lost the fight. This is the same Shane Mosely that demolished Margarito and was a boxing messiah before Saturday night. Respect my sport lola reason is different from an excuse my man.
did mosley stop throwing in the 3rd and on forever because he was being battered so badly in that 3rd round?
or did shane stop throwing for other reasons. was he not gassed? was his coordination not detoriorated?
i think floyd wins this fight no matter what in the last 4 years, but 7 years ago it may be a different story.
how is saying a near 39 year old guy who gasses in the 3rd round, mouth open gasping the whole fight after, is an excuse?
choosing one fighter to win before a fight and implenting my thoughts on what gameplan can and should work, is not talking trash, it is talking boxing.

LMAO
I wonder why Pacquiao fans don't hang on to Roach's every word when he says stuff like, "Mayweather took something out of Hatton... he's not the same", "Oscar was drained... I could see the tape where the ivy was in his arm... he was dehydrated", "Shane Mosely is not getting the fight if he doesn't make 142 because we don't want to give him any advantages... this is a business, Mosely is too risky and not enough money", "Floyd will run all night and make it boring fight" in regards to Mosely
but when he says **** like "Floyd's has no power at WW and he's flat footed" that **** becomes gospel?Comment

Where you at Pull. Post that fight night weight link cause this is what Mayweather Sr. said said:
Only a couple more fights. Floyd's 33 years old himself. Lil' Floyd trains hard man. He didn't put on any weight overnight: that's how hard he trains. So I would only like to see him do that to his body a couple of more times. Not that weight is an issue. Lil' Floyd makes weight easy, but his camps are tough man.Last edited by Sugar Q; 05-05-2010, 11:02 AM.Comment
