PS Roach already trained Oscar to fight Floyd
and that was in 07. Roach, when are you going
to get the blueprint?

Saying floyd doesn't have his legs anymore is 100% wrong. Saying he's flat footed today is 100% right. He's become more and more "relaxed" or "lazy" in the ring at times. Engaging in clinches more, more inside fighting, more pressure, all these things are a flat foot.
There is nothing wrong with this at all. He still has his legs, it's just he is easiar to "get access to" now because he's flat footed today. It's not a decline, it's a style switch. Like i said, more clinches, more in fighting, more pressure, more chilling on the ropes (he did this a lot with oscar/hatton).
These things Roach thinks will pay in manny's favor, because he doesn't want manny chasing floyd all night. That's the only reason he stated it. It doesn't make the fight easiar though, it just gives manny a chance to actually make contact now, as opposed to before, he'd never get close to the man.

Learn something or 2 about what terms actually mean in boxing before you start yapping your mouth.
the term flat footed is an accurate assessment of how floyds feet work in the ring right now.

It's a bit of both.
Floyd knows where he's slowing down! He made remarks about it himself recently. Dude is not dumb like Roy, the way he fights is adapting to it.
Mayweather got caught with the big one in round 2 'cause he uncharacteristically got wild and left himself open to Mosley. Then he fixed it.
The first thing that I thought Mayweather would need to do against Mosley would be to establish the distance that he wanted to fight at by using footwork/jab/right-hand lead. Nope, Mayweather decided to take a risk and meet Mosley in the middle of the ring.
He just over-played his hand that's all.
He should have boxed Mosley from round 2 on..... he had "weathered the storm" so to speak, by meeting fire-with-fire early. By the end of round 1 Mosley was not gonna walk through Mayweather, and Floyd had established his perimeter. He over-played his hand.
Funny thing..... a punch in the mouth can either throw your gameplan out the window, or it can serve as a swift reminder if you strayed from it. An angry uncle in your corner helps too
Once he boxed first, he could mix it up and be more aggressive in the later rounds..... trading in spurts, mixing it when required.
The "his legs are gone" comment is crap IMO.
