about the whole jab to the pit of the stomach thing,i watched the fight again and floyd did use it to set up a right upstairs.honestly,he is 33.its true that he doesnt open up his arsenal like he used to,but i think it also has to do with who he is fighting and he doesnt want to take a risk and get caught.i think gatti for example,he could have afforded to take those risks and that was at 140.last time he opened up his arsenal was against judah and he had to imo.i think now adays he is more of a thinker and relies on his great reflexes more.nothing wrong with that.i think if and when the time comes,he will make full use of his arsenal.Comment

Floyd isn't shot-he used less foot movement because he was fighting toe to toe with Shane instead of keeping distance!
In just 6 months previous to this fight he moved around more because he chose to fight that way.
Damn...the guy gets critisized for keeping too much distance and is labeled "a runner" or"scared to fight",then when he fights up close, people say his legs are "shot"! lol
He fights differently depending on the fighter....if his legs were truly shot,he wouldn't have stayed up while taking those monstrous punches from Shane...the same punches that tore apart Margarito and many others...Comment

Floyd looked just fine to me. True that he is more economical now, but he is effective enough and smart enough to understand that he is long way from north from 23.Comment

Floyd knew he didn't need movement to beat Shane....just watch the Winky Wright/Shane fights...Wright walked him down with a jab....
For this fight,Floyd didn't need an arsenal of punches, though he did land a decent uppercut, good crisp jabs, right hands etcHis left hooks weren't too on that night though, but neither was Shane's (the same left hooks that put down Margarito the first knockdown,Vargas-the second fight ko'd him,and finished off Mayorga)...Comment
