Gday from Australia. I'm just a casual observer of this game but to me it seems Pacquiao has fought a number of fellas who lost their last fight, fought De La Hoya who hadn't fought so low in nearly 5 years, Hatton who has been called 'Fatton' far too often in that he just never kept himself in shape enough to be the ultimate pro and Cotto who he wouldn't fight at true welterweight. On the other side is also some cherry picking by Mayweather because lets face it, fighting Marquez was nothing but a good loosener before taking on a real bout. Marquez may have been great at lighter weights but the step up to ww, he looked fat not fit.

Pacquiao hasn't fought anybody like Mayweather and vice versa. DLH seemed to be only out for a payday like hatton and Cotto was willing to drop too much to be a serious contender against a fella who can really fight. Mayweather has speed and smarts that neither Cotto or Hatton has ever had. Pacquiao has power and will like not too many before him.

If this fight ever comes to fruition Pacquiao will have to find more than a leading right with a booming left (it seems to me he steps in VERY fast on a right which is a little stinger before the left which is the true killer?) and then just going for it IF those punches work. even Clottey landed better than Pacquiao percentage wise. Clottey might have shelled up but Mayweather has better defence than that. Mayweather will have to deal with the sheer numbers from Pacquiao though, Pacman wont fold after 4 like Mosely who clearly didn't have enough in the tank after not fighting for more than a year.

And so the Mayweather Pacquiao fight depends who folds on the drug testing regime. Pacquiao is the man of the moment because Mayweather took a near 2 year retirement. Would Floyd show himself as magnanimous and say he will accept the NSAC regime? Can Pacquiao take the upper hand by agreeing to Mayweathers tests? I dotn care, this is THE fight to see right now.

Gday too. To educate you first of all Oscar just won against Forbes. He weight 150lbs, he was planning a rematch with Floyd at 147 before Floyd chikened out and opt for retirement. Second Pacquiao has his first fight at 135 and have to move up another two (12 lbs) to WW for the Goldenboy's fight. So in effect in less than a year Pac put on 17 lbs in less than a year for that fight. Tell me which makes sense....will you favor a guy dropping 3 lbs against a guy moving basically 3 divisions north where he also has significant weight and most importantly reach disadvantage?

For Fatton he just had a dominating performance against a ***git, had the "best" trainer, (u know the Mayweather family right?) and ALWAYS blows up between fights. In fact this is the only fight where he did not go significantly out of shape, might be the longest and most intensive training camo he had, and still got absolutely ****ingly annihilated.

Cotto who weight at 146 vs Clottey that he offered to bleed, ****, sweat, and chop his feet to get 1 pound off his weight, who tried very hard to win and just got outclassed, outspeed and beat. Of cors that is not impressive performance as that was a gaunt, dead zoombie Cotto in there.

Yes Mayweather should be favored. He has after all the physical as well as technical advantage. But diminishing Pac when he shouldn't even be effective at this weight is just pure blindness, at the worse hatred my friend. Why would he get a cherry for fighting a fraud? If floyd is such a fraud why should manny even waste his time? but you know what we know who the real fraud is. we saw mayweather dominate mosley and we know he wasn't on anything. But we can't exactly say that about Pac now can we?

Ok lets get one thing straight. Manny is faster than Shane right now and more importantly, he doesn't run out of energy. Shane was gassed after round 3. Pac will go hard for 12. Floyd has to fight smart the whole fight because Pac will be moving hard and fast the entire time. But, Floyd will win for sure. Hes to good defensively. Floyds only got one more great year left in him though, hes definately slowing down. Hes 33, Roy was 35 when he lost. His time is coming if he stays in the game fighting the best.
