floyd got the better of the clinching anyway. just watch while mosley is clinching, floyd is punching. when mosley tries to break away, floyd is punching. that tactic wasn't as successful as it seemed originally. floyd stops mosley if he puts together 4-5 punch combos.
Shane was demoralized not physically beaten down !!

Remember PAC in the first 4 rounds of De La Joto, he was pretty much doin' the same thing what Phony was doin' to Shane, which was pot-shottin', once PAC sensed that De La Joto was there for the kill, he went to that other level...
... Whereas Phony kept doin' the same ****, only difference was, he was starting to walk Shane down, but, that was it. Even Lampley and crew mentioned it, I think it was Steward, Phony just stuck with his two punch combo eventhough he already had Shane backin' up.Comment

He beat shane pretty handily. As much as I hate to admit it. Im a huge Mosley fan and Mosley blew his shot. He gassed really hard in the 2nd round trying to be the first to KO Mayweather. Props to Mayweather. If they rematch, and I doubt they do, Mosley would be wise to not get soo excited this time. He was breathing from his mouth starting round 3 to the rest of the fight. He just wasted too much damn energy and Mayweather knew it and picked him apart all night. If only Mayweather wasnt soo damn annoying and ****y, Id be a fan.Comment

This is in response to some posters who are wondering why Phony Boy didn't live up to his promise of giving a Gatti like performance.
Yes, Shane was outpointed, but, y'all have to remember, Shane defended Phony Boy's left hook(which is his $$$ shot) well all throughout the fight.
He broke Shane down, but, he didn't physically break him down. As successful as his lead rights were, those were just "contact shots". Just like how they say Ichiro Suzuki is just a contact hitter in baseball.
Phony Boy knew that a puncher like Shane would be dangerous the whole time. As great a pot-shottin' job Phony did last Saturday, Shane's age and his inability to pull the trigger had some help in that too.Comment
