This is in response to some posters who are wondering why Phony Boy didn't live up to his promise of giving a Gatti like performance.
Yes, Shane was outpointed, but, y'all have to remember, Shane defended Phony Boy's left hook(which is his $$$ shot) well all throughout the fight.
He broke Shane down, but, he didn't physically break him down. As successful as his lead rights were, those were just "contact shots". Just like how they say Ichiro Suzuki is just a contact hitter in baseball.
Phony Boy knew that a puncher like Shane would be dangerous the whole time. As great a pot-shottin' job Phony did last Saturday, Shane's age and his inability to pull the trigger had some help in that too.
