How Great is Floyd if his best win came against a 39 year old?

so in almost two yrs an some months the only fight floyd has had is a active fight against a lightweight the fight before that was against as you guys put it a ricky hatton fighting in a division he didn't belong in.
an this all prepared him for a fight against the 38 yr old best welterweight in the word.
but on the other hand in almost 2 years an some months shane mosley had knocked out 170 pounds ricardo mayorga and the number 1 welterweight in margarito.
if floyd had lost looks like i would have had a valid excuse for why.
Shane was not rated the best weltweight, according to the ring he was number 2, a position he maintained for 18 months without fighting anyone. (He was no.1 but was dislodged by Pac.)Comment

shane also had two training camps with an experienced trainer in ****m while floyd trainer is consider to be a crack head to certain poster on this site.Comment

it is when ur pushin 40, just look at jordan when he was 38 compared to 33, or Roy Jones
only chance shane had was to catch him, and that was slim at best, for a 38 year old fighter who has slowed down.. COTTO was matchin Shane for speed and that was 2 years ago.
athletes slow down rapidly when theyre in their mid to late 30's that is a fact.Last edited by jump-man; 05-04-2010, 12:18 PM.Comment

nice to see floyd buckle a bit, but honestly, a guy buckles and everyone goes mad, his hand did not even touch the floor=he was fine. he still is the best fighter out there by a margin and pacs gonna have to do more than wobble him once, i mean can you actually imagen pac winning rounds over and over and actually putting flloyd down....no, it aint gonna happen. im not particulary a floyd fan but you got to give him credit. and to all you saying this was his best win or arguing about who his best win was its simple...he was 7'2 and 500 pounds "ITS THE BIG SHOW"Comment
