either the fight counts or it doesn't.
do you really think fighting a bloated lightweight as you guys call him is enough preparation for a fight against the best welterweight in the world?
according to you guys it's like the fight didn't even count, but now i see it only counts when you want to use it against floyd.Comment

Okay, as long as you recognize that Mayweather won't get credit for winning against Pacquiao (if the fight happens and if he wins) because Pacquiao was either: 'not a legitimate Welterweight', 'Blood drained', 'In too many wars', 'distracted by the pressure of submitting to tests' or 'he has too many projects going at once'. I mean really, if you want to play that game, there are plenty of excuses to detract from the merit of a win to go around.& coming off a 1 year 5 month layoff. How great is that?
That says a lot about his career if that is his best win to date......
not only was he 39 & 1 year & 5 months removed from his last fight, he almost ktfo floyd.
seriously, this guy is now being treated like a boxing god?
a little perspective please people.Comment

It does not count the way the die hard Floyd fans perceive it to count, "Oh, Floyd just beat the p4p2#". Let excuse the fact he was a light weight.either the fight counts or it doesn't.

It was still a fight and it served it purpose, it kept Floyd active.
It would have been interesting to seen how Mosley looked against Berto, he may have lost and this fight against Floyd may never have happened.Comment

so in almost two yrs an some months the only fight floyd has had is a active fight against a lightweight the fight before that was against as you guys put it a ricky hatton fighting in a division he didn't belong in.It does not count the way the die hard Floyd fans perceive it to count, "Oh, Floyd just beat the p4p2#". Let excuse the fact he was a light weight.

an this all prepared him for a fight against the 38 yr old best welterweight in the word.
but on the other hand in almost 2 years an some months shane mosley had knocked out 170 pounds ricardo mayorga and the number 1 welterweight in margarito.
if floyd had lost looks like i would have had a valid excuse for why.Comment
