So if a fight ends in a 1 or 2 round KO it's exciting, but if it goes 12 it's boring?

I honestly feel that if anyone has a problem with the way floyd fights then they are not true fans and they know very little about boxing. What the man displays is boxing in its purest form. He hits without taking too much damage and when he does get hit he makes his opponents pay. And the way he breaks his opponents down is amazing. yeah his choice of opponents in the past have been suspect but you gotta acknowledge and appreciate the man's skills as a boxer. and for those who hate the fact that he's not a blood thirsty all out fighter, get over it. the man is a technician. if you don't like him stop paying your money to watch him then. and why is it that so many people want to see him get knocked out and hurt? Because he talks trash? There are alot of fighters who talked trash before him, so why get upset at him. Some of you idiots need to realize that its just a character he plays. He is a good father to his kids, donates to charity, and is always appreciative and respectful when he encounters fans. so i don't understand what all the hate is for and it just pisses me off that so called "fans" **** on a fighter who clearly demonstrates the true art form of boxing. it just makes no sense.

cause winky got a prime mosley. winky wasn't landing big shots on mosley. mostly winky was just landing jabs. also jack mosley didn't threaten to end the fight like ****m did.

mosley would've gotten stopped if floyd just put together more combos. either floyd tKOs him or ****m would've stopped the fight. I truly believe this. the stoppage was there for floyd. all floyd needed to do was put his foot on the accelerator

When you think about it its kinda worse to beat a fighter like that. Knocking someone out is giving them the easy way out. But beating and making your opponent look like an amateur for 12 rounds straight makes it worse on them. Reason being a guy can get knocked out early and say "well he got a lucky shot", but when you get beat like mosley did there is no excuse. that fighter was clearly better than you that night. I think thats what floyd does. Show himself and the world that he's better than you by beating you all the way through the end. Cause face it a fighter can land a lucky punch and win.

this is nonsense. floyd made it be known that he was trying for the KO. all he needed was to put together 4-5 punch combos. ****m was on the verge of stopping the fight.

Stop putting words into my mouth. I've been watching boxing since 1974. i would love to see 12 rounds of good, exciting boxing. From the tactical war between Graham/McClellan to the near death fight between Ali/Frazier 3.


Mosely/Mayweather was not on the same level of excitement. Sorry my opinion is different from yours. Or mine just happens to be like the general opinion of fans and casual fans regarding that fight.

I was at a fight party with about 10 people..including women and they were all happy well upset that Mayweather won (except for me) but surprised and excited with the fight..

Casuals were much much more upset with "The Event" that entire card made everyone drowsy..and by the 8th round of the Pac-Clottey bout people were either dozing off or yawing in boredom..so this was a much better fight night for casuals..

They're idiotic, if Mosley KOed Mayweather in round 12 they would have called it fight of the year. I found the fight interesting when watching it live and I found it interesting when I watched it in the afternoon.

Rounds 3-6 I was still kinda nervous that Mosley would catch Floyd, but my man put on a clinic.

i had alot of casual fans watching it with me and they didnt look bored to me, most said after the fight that they didnt expect the dominance and the pac better take the test

Vasquez Marquez 3 went full 12 but I do believe casual fans loved it.
