Good points by TS. As we all can see Mayweather now that he is comfortable in being the cash cow in boxing always brings his A game in big fights (Oscar fight excluded). He was so on against Shane and surprised us all in being the agressor. I think he was really filled out into a legitimate welter and hasn't sacrificed any speed or reflexes as he aged. I was also surprised that he seemed the stronger man in the ring and even when he got hurt he was able to hold Mosley off literally. Is Pacman strong enough or stronger than Mosley that even if he hurts Floyd early will he be able to finish him off.
Pacquiao's defense is his offensive output but we have already seen how counter-punching slows him down. He has no real advantages against Floyd who is just as quick and physically fit as he. To me the biggest saving grace for Pacquiao is that he is a southpaw. I expect Mayweather to keep his hands up more than usual and as someone stated in another thread he is actually even faster because his hands are already up and closer to his target.
The time off was great for him as he let his body healed and made some people clamor for his return. He has truly mastered his craft and if he is not getting better hasn't really lost a step. The only thing Floyd is missing is the killer instinct that Manny has which makes his fights more exciting.

Like someone said earlier this fight will start like Floyd-Zab and end up with Floyd dominating.

this is just a fantasy fight.. from the looks of it. He's likely to win the election and retire.

this was "actually" planned but was not just announced. just pray that he doesn't win the election.

and pac is just too one-dimensional and too small and too unskilled that's why he never wins fantasy fights.. but wins them anyway in an unexpected manner in an actual fight recently. this is exactly the reason why his wins are more impressive than floyd.

IMHO, this fight would end up with Floyd winning a CLOSE decision or end up like May-Gatti, only the other way around.
