I feel you but we fans just want to see the fight so this is positive news.

Great. I'm hoping Mayweather doesn't move the goal posts.

i've been lurking here for a while now and it seems, when news breaks out regarding the super fight, people don't get excited about it potentially happening. it seems everybody just cant wait to start the flame war against "*****s" and "*******s".

        true?

if he wants more than 50/50, then peace, onto margarito.
says who?? it works however they want it to work...there are no rules to negotiating contracts....

          Floyd DESERVES more than 50/50
Floyd is WELL within his right to demand full random testing like Shane agreed to....

this fight fell apart because Pac wouldn't take the tests....period...he already refused these terms....previous negotiations became null and void the second Shane agreed to the testing, and then Floyd beat Shane so convincingly....

Pac has no bargaining chips left...

          Floyd has the perfect record
          Floyd is the bigger draw
Floyd has the moral high ground on drug testing
Floyd is coming off the bigger win
Floyd is not the one who caused negotiations to break down last time

I don't think Floyd will agree with 14 days, tbh.

And, even as a huge Pac-fan, I think Floyd should get the bigger check. 60/40 makes sense to me.

nah, its not that. Its the fact that both guys are known to have egos and expect to call shots in negotiations. There is a chance floyd might demand testing up to fight date but i dont think he will. He still would love to kick his ass just to do it

think whatever you want about manny's bargaining chips. just remember who manny's promoter is.
you'd be fooling yourself if you think arum would concede just like that.
arum only knows how to play one way: hardball.

It moved already on its own when He and Mosley went through the whole test... and the possibility of huge numbers. (Numbers still in the air though)

Not saying how I feel just stating the reality of things now... As for me I dont care what they agree too, as long as they do.
