Martinez-Mayweather is not a fight I would want to see right now. I would like to see Mayweather vs Pac, then another worthy WW. Meanwhile, Martinez could rematch Pavlik and Paul Will. Then, if both fighters have won their fights, May vs Martinez would be huge, and it would be a good way for May to go out of the sport. But this is no easy task, Martinez would be one of his toughest fights, if not the toughest one of them all.

Floyds win over Mosley doesnt put him at number 1 he needs to exterminate the division and then he will get the props he deserves, but until then Pac is #1

good scrap, let them fight at nothin less then 154. floyd made jmm go up to 144 from 135 and he couldnt even make 144, came in at 142. then floyd himself came in at 146. when he fought hatton, ricky came up from 140 so let lil floyd move to 154 or show real big 1's and go up to 160 and become middleweight champion of the world. sugar ray robinson did it, he says hes better then him so why not?

MAY UD.
I have the Corley,Spodafora and Judah's sessions in mind, and hell,Sergio brings a lot more to the table than any of these guys.
I have none of the three beating to pulp Pavlik,Cintron and having a draw with P Will even in their prime.
Mosley had a huge puncher, that's why the fight was exciting.
But if Cotto can SD Mosley,of course a P4P picasso like Floyd was going to win all rounds.
Altough he's a helluva athlete and an experienced fighter,Mosley is one dimensionnal and right handed.
Martinez is slick, southpaw, and has a REAL size, reach advantage.
To me,height, southpaw stance and slickness is what give Floyd troubles.

Judah did better against Floyd than he did against most of elite fighters he faced.
And we all know Floyd is way better than Cotto,Tszyu or Clottey.Judah even lost to Baldo.
Don't get me wrong I'm convinced Judah was in better shape and more focused for Floyd.
But a slick southpaw is what Floyd dislikes.
A right handed fighter coming at him is what will always make Floyd look like a god and not a human.lol
Even as dangerous as Mosley.
I think styles make fights, and Martinez is kinda like a big "game Judah".
I dont know if Floyd loses, but Martinez tests him more than Mosley or Pac.

Floyd would be a fav against Martinez even at 154, where Floyd already has a title.
Wait, isn't this the same Delahoya you said was an old "part time fighter" for Mayweather? But the older version that Pacquaio fought "looked sharp" huh? Your contradictions are funny.

I think Martinez is getting overrated on here. He lost to Paul Williams because Williams was the better man and it showed at the end of the fight. Martinez even admitted he lost in several interviews. When you run out of energy at certain points in the fight and fight with the same kind of work rate that Floyd does, Mayweather will feed off of that.
I wouldn't be mad at Floyd for taking the fight. It just wouldn't be exciting and with Martinez's promoter saying that the Williams-Martinez fight needs to be built up for a year and a half I better not hear anymore about Williams ducking a rematch with the guy.
