#3. mayweathers last 2 opponants was close to being 40yrs old...for marquez, he had to move up 2 weight classes to fight mayweather, and at marquez's age, that was a big disadvantage...as for mosley, other than his win over margarito, mosley was unimpressive in his last few fights...WHEREAS pacs last two opponants were basically in their primes (just as pac and mayweather...all of whom are in their early 30's) and were ranked in the top 5 welterweight...and as mentioned above in #2, pac destroyed cotto, the same cotto that mosley struggled against and lost to...the same mosley that is close to being 40yrs old
    Lmao..

U are saying Cotto was in his prime?

C'mon dog, he practically got assassinated by Margarito..never been the same since

do you know what prime is? prime is when you are at an age, usually in your early 30's and is dominating your division...if you look at all the division champs, most of them are in their early 30,s...that to me is what being at his prime is...all dominating boxer are in their early 30's, hence they are in their prime.

and you think mosley was the same after getting killed twice by forrest and twice by winky? add the fact that mosley is close to 40? you want to make excuse for cotto? mosley was never the same long time ago...margarito was perfectly tailor made for mosley...take this excuse for mosley, hahaha...

Prime is not only age...Try learning more about boxing.

Some fighters become shot in their mid to late 20's. PRIME is when they are most confident, and have that inner fire that has not yet been put out. PRIME is when they are at the top of their game, and the peak of their physicality, and other intangibles. It happens at different points with different fighters.

You think prime only means when they are in their 30's? Are you an idiot?
