Shane just ran into him, he should have backed up a little and unleashed to the head but Floyd looked like he recovered instantly anyway.

what i expected to happen,however shane going ****** and not repeating the tactic that brought him sucess i wasnt expcting.

credit to floyd and his skills and doing what he had to do to win.

but to me half of it was down to shane reverting to looking for one big punch and not using a good hard jab to the body and head,and not using combinations and also hesitating instead of just to let go.

Floyd vs pac is the real fight that needs to go down.

however floyd v martinez is another great fight.

mosley vs berto shoul happpen,i expect shane to re deem himself and maybe retire on that fight as a 2 belt champion with a big KO win.
(i would say shane is crazy enough to go further and fight williams,but from previous experiences with bigger guys its not likely to happen,but maybe mosley vs martinez might happen ?)

maybe if pac v floyd fails an berto is tied up with mosley, pac could rematch marquez,or even cotto or foreman winner for the light middleweight title.

When someone covers their head you go for the body unless you can force your way through their guard ( In the situation he couldn't), this is elementary.

ordinarily I'd agree, especially as the body was open, but with the benefit of hindsight he needed to keep Mayweather dis-orientated for the KO, a fresh Floyd was able to take the body shot without any trouble. Besides which, a Mosley power shot to the guard would still be felt.

Honestly people talking bad about Mosley need to watch this..

I think if he hits practically any WW with those shots early in a fight he would most likely finish them or knock them down at the very least. Also remeber that Mayweather is the best defensive fighter of his generation, if he got hit by 1 or 2 of them, other good WW's most certainly would too.
