How come people don't call Mayweather boring?

Let's be frank, we now know why he has a safety first policy - his chin is fragile! I was honestly bored after about round 6/7 as I knew we were looking at another UD. Mayweather's tactics never altered throughout - barring that second round when he was seriously wobbled and holding on - it was high guard, side on with the chin under the left shoulder, never throwing anything that might compromise his defense. It all added up to a convincing UD and DULL fight. People slate Wladimir Klitschko for being a dull fighter but how come Mayweather gets away with an even more boring style? The guy is no showman - certainly no Leonard, Duran, Hearns or Hagler! He grinds out wins.

Pac-Man is the real star of that weight class. He puts on a show and gives it everything. Pac-Man>Mayweather. Pac-Man would batter him, that's my view.

after round 2, the fight got very repetitive. that was partly due to mosley because he just tried to load up and then survive, but floyd could've starting putting together 4-5 punch combos. if he did that, I'm 100% sure he'd have KOed mosley or at least nasim would've thrown in the towel.

i agree. If Floyd had that mindset of closing a fight, he'd be twice as popular. And its not like he would of been taking a risk to close the show after the 7th round. Mosley was a dead man walking.

Yeah. Mayweather would be a much more exciting fighter if he jabbed all night, clinched, attempted to knock down his opponent's lead hand, and ultimately land a one-hitter quitter right hand like the man in your avatar.

Floyd just put on his best offensive display in recent memory, wrong time for such an incorrect thread.

He was a dead man walking against Vernon too, but he didnt stop him either. Floyd could have gotten caught had he done what you guys are talking about, brilliant display.

Wait....a Wladamir fan calling other fighters boring? Also, how was that boring last night? that was an absolute masterclass he out-classed Mosley with ease.....Mosley has never in his whole career been beaten like that before.

Oh and how is his chin fragile? He took two huge shots from one of the hardest hitting Welterweights in the sport today and recovered almost instantly it'd be the equivalent of Wladamir taking a flush left hook from Tua and we all know how that would turn out don't we.

Floyd has a better chin than Pacquiao.

I think he respected Mosley's power even when he knew he could land at will against him..He was very cautious as usual, and landed his accurate punches. If he was reckless, who knows what would've happened, but he had enough respect for Mosley..
