You don't need to bring Morales and Barrera. Juan "babyfat" Diaz was already a true professional and much more impressive than that monkey ass Saul Bumvarez. This guy was fighting world champ at 18 y old.

Even Jose Benavidez beats Bumvarez up.

      The ginger's only 19.

These kinds of fights are good for him. For a second it looked like GBP pulled another Ortiz/Maidana but the boy pulled it out of the fire.

He seems like a decent figher, but thats about it.

really? alvarez looked strong, focused, he boxed at a distance fighting very smart. didn't take ****** chances. looked like a veteran out there. of course he still has a few things to work on footwork and angles but he certainly is on his way!

Q pasa con los boricuas? Just because he has a biased opion or is hating on Canelo don't mean all boricuas are the same... I give mad props to Canelo he looks way sharper than most of the new talents I've seen so far and he's only 19...

so ***ing what if hes 19 , what , u expect him to wait till his older. If he was in position to fight a top ten guy he will do it right , regardless of age.

HE IS FIGHTING AT 19 , SO IF HES WACK AT 19 THERN HE ONLY GOT HIMSELF TO BLAME , IF AT 19 HE GETS A TITLE SHOT HE WILL GET MERKED , BUT YET U ARE HYTPING HIM AT 19. THE KID IS NOT A PROSPECT HE HAS ARRIVED AT CONTENDER STATUS , AND IS NOT EVEN IMPRESSIVE. HE GOT ****ING ROCKED BY A LW IN THE FIRST ROUND. AT WHAT WEIGHT , AND IT TOOK WAY TOO MUCH TO STOP COTTO. THE KID IS WACK AT 19.

I was watching the kid fight a few days back and the kid can fight, he has a lot of tools and skills in his arsenal, but I found it suspect that he was facing these opponents with terrible knockout ratios.

His chin not being good is the only thing that can really hold the kid back, Alvarez is a really good counter puncher with good pop.

I'm a big fan of mexican fighters, Barrera, Morales. To me Juan Diaz fights more like a mexican than Saul Alvarez. I just hate that this guy is given the hype he doesn't deserve whereas JMM had to wait until he was past prime to get the respect he deserves.

It's just Alvarez that i don't like, same thing for others overhyped fighters. Librado Andrade is a better guy to support than Alvarez and JCC.JR, two kids who always had a silver spoon and don't have any talent. Andrade worked his way up through the ranks, just like Margarito.
