It's amateur how the ginger get's overrated because he's a 19 year old Mexican ginger with a decent record number wise..

He was hurt by a much shorter blown up lightweight fighting at light middleweight with loads of ring rust..

Barrera & Morales were both more impressive at his age, it's just that they were at 118 & 122 and not at 147.. and of course they weren't Mexicans full of freckles. Kell Brook would spark him out..

Didn't see the Cotto fight but he's impressive from what I've seen. Good skills, speed, power....but I wouldn't pick him over any top fighter at this point. Someone like Quintana or Collza would whoop the kids ass

How so? he still has a lot of work to do, needs to learn a few more things, the kid is 19 for crying out loud. He did what he had to do and stopped his man in impressive fashion.

I don't know, he looked very solid to me- never lost his composure, even after being hurt. He was very patient and waited for an anxious J.M. Cotto to open himself up. He could stand to slim up just a tad (looks like a soft Mosley up top), but he has the skill set to be very good. He got a really good experience in that fight, though.

Yeah he is, but at 19, he's got time to learn plenty.

Hope they don't rush him.
