Mosley could have been the greatest boxer of this era easily

If Mosley choose to box his career instead of brawling

Look at his physical attributes first. He is 5’9 and his reach is 74. That is a pretty good reach and height. Mosley has very quick hands and power, and a great chin. If Mosley was brought up to box his whole career, I would been hard to name a boxer who could beat him.

mosley never had the skillset to be the greatest fighter of this era. guys like him and jermaine taylor aren't/weren't great boxers. they where gifted athletically and that's about it.

never had a strong enough jab to be a truly great boxer he just puts it out there to measure his opponent. i dont understand those who claim that mosley has or ever had a good jab.

I think you blame that on how long he stayed at lightweight. He was so big and strong there, he knocked almost everyone out, and that made him fall in love with his power. He has power, obviously, but he always looked for the big shots when he could box and win rounds.

What if Mosley didn't lift weights? I honestly believe he would have been much better off.

Yes. The difference between Floyd and Shane is that Floyd was brought up by championship-level fighters....Shane was brought up by Jack Mosley.

Look at Lehkei and CashFlow. Those kids move their heads just off instinct. Did you see Lehkei shadow-boxing?

He was brought up against the Mexican style fighter, which is why he does so well against that type.

I agree, brought up against a different type of fighter, with a trainer who focused on his boxing ability he would've been greater.

He's still a great fighter though and it made for exciting fights.

you spittin that dumb ****. I think shanes relentless warrior style is the reason he has had the great career he has had. Also, according to the tale of the tape last night, shanes arms are shorter than floyds.
