      He absolutely butchered that anthem.

Whats with all the hanging onto every note? that made it sound worse not better.

Chris Brown singing the anthem was telling because just a few minutes later Floyd put hands on a *****!

I hate that ****. It's like something singers do when they know they can't make notes, so they drag them on and on and on. Sounds so amateurish.

If I were Chris Brown I wouldn't be any where near a combat sport/event, based on that incident with RiRi. He should fire his publicist.

The Kid's got a lovely tone, best of any American anthem singer at a Vegas superfight I've heard in a longass time, but he needed to straighten that **** out (why are they all encouraged to pull that tastelessly elaborate stuff?) - he proved he could do it when he hit the highest note ("freeeee") completely straight + perfectly pitched and held (something none of these other kids doing the anthems have even been capable of) . . . every note that traditionally calls for being held like that should have been, instead of those cornyass, unmelodic note runs.

It was a lot better than usual, but it could have been SWEET.
