Jesus Grustler then retire, you guys seem to think he beats everyone, so what's the point of continuing to be active? He has to fight someone, why not fight someone young and in their prime, regardless of how we can all "predict" the outcome in advance.

If he fights Margarito he will continue the trend of fighting declining boxers that are either coming off a loss (Clottey) or were brutally KO'd a couple of fights back (Cotto).

hey bro, prime is what cotto and clottey is...just as what pac and mayweather is...they are basically all at their peak prime in their early 30's...remember this, all the best boxers in each division are in their ealry 30's...that their is considered prime age.

cotto and clottey was the last two prime fighters pac has fought...who did mayweather fight in his two fights? and overweight almost 40 yr old marquez? and an almost 40 mosley that wasnt impressive in his last few fights other than the margarito fight? oh yah, mayweathers last two fights may seem impressive, but considering the situation of those two opponants, its not even impressive

the way pac beat delahoya and hatton was way more impressivde than what mayweather did to those same two boxers...and the way mosley fought last nite, pac wouldve done worse to him than did mayweather

If Mayweather/Mosley draws 2 million on PPV, there won't be a fight because there is no way Mayweather will give Pacquaio 50 percent of the revenue. Pac could take 40 percent and still make three times as much as he has ever earned in his career.

He would have everything to lose, with little to gain.

He would have $30 million to gain, even if he only received 40 percent of the revenue. that would be about three times as much as he has earned in any other fight.

Cotto has looked anything but in his prime after all the unanswered punches to the head he took from Margarito and if you believe otherwise you need to go back and see some tape of Cotto before and after the Margarito fight.


Clottey was coming off a loss when he fought Pacquiao. Why doesn't he fight someone coming off an impressive victory (Mosely) or a fighter that has a winning streak going.

I believe he will fight Margarito (another Bob Arum fighter) who was destroyed by Mosely.
