Shane gave us many great fights and is sure to be a HOFer. But he's closeing in on age 40, he's not the same as he was. His reflexes are gone, he doesn't move his head quickly enough to avoid punches anymore.

I'm sure he was paid well to fight Floyd, so now is a good time to retire.
I bet Shane beats Berto. How would a shot fighter do that? But I do feel like one and done go out on a high note Shane.

You need to learn to give fighters credit when they deserve it Tunney.

You gave Dirrell ZERO credit for beating Abraham emphatically and you haven't given Floyd any credit for winning 11 of 12 rounds against Mosley.

It just makes you look petty.

I don't see how people can't give Floyd any credit for this win. Shane is not shot. He could still beat many of the WWs. I'd still pick him to annihilate Berto and he is regarded among the top WWs. It's funny how whenever Floyd beats someone, he's "shot" after.

Shane Mosley was one of boxing's best for nearly 15 years, but it was evident from his lack of stamina and inability to get his punches off that it's time for him to permanently hang up the gloves.
