Dis Nigg@ Has Mastered Da Game

As good as Floyd was, he's completely mastered this beatch now. Im not a Floyd homer like some say and those Pac fans who really know me know that because Im like the only Floyd fan who admits that Floyd ducked Cotto, Margarito, and the other big WW's. Horus can say what he want about the money but Floyd ducked them. If you know me though then you know that I never ripped him or thought he should be ripped because of the simple fact of his size. I dont think Floyd was truly scared of them. I think he was worried that he may lose to an inferior guy like Margarito strictly because he was too big for him and he wouldve never forgiven himself for that.

Floyd at that time was coming into the ring at 146 pounds for WW fights and all the other guys were huge strong guys in there 1st division. At that time Floyd had to run & pity pat every fight because he wasnt strong enough. People ripped him and said that the legends would kill him and the current guys would give him hell but I always said that you shouldnt judge him until he grows into the weight. Obviously this wasnt a prime Mosley but Floyd was still clearly very strong and looked 10x better physically than he did in his early WW career. This version of Floyd would easily have fought a prime Margarito, Cotto, and Mosley. There aint no doubt in my mind because he's not worried about them physically. They couldnt just bully him & win on size. He's way stronger & much more filled out now. This Floyd would shutout and probably stop a prime Margarito. This Floyd would dominate and stop the earlier WW Mayweather.

Now he can fight like he did at the lower weights and looks great. If Shane didnt hold all night then Floyd wouldve killed him. Merchant & Steward still hate on Floyd but Floyd is a beast right now. People could make a serious argument previously that a prime Oscar, Shane, & Forrest could beat Floyd and I guess you still somewhat can but this version I think clearly beats them. He's different now. He looked it on 24/7 and I hope he stays for about 5 more fights. Probably wont though. He's mastered that **** right now though. His coordination is unmatched, he's stronger, his speed is as good as ever, more powerful now, and he just has mastered boxing.

If Pac was a righty then it would be a 5th round blowout KO. Pac being a lefty gives him a chance but he will have to either stop Floyd early or hurt him bad enough where it lingers all fight like Forrest did Mosley. Weve seen against Hatton & Shane that Floyd can be caught very early and weve seen against Chop & Zab that Floyd can take 4 rounds to adjust to the Southpaw style but once he gets settled in then he figures you out and its over. Thats why I say that people should stop with the stuff about Oscar giving Floyd trouble and that proves he's not great. It wasnt Oscar. It was Floyd. He just was not comfortable at WW at that time, let along 154. Now he is and he would murder that version of Oscar. Its just night & day.

This fight also put the JMM fight in perspective. I told people that I honestly thought JMM looked good and was the same ole JMM. I think he wouldve given Pac hell that night but Floyd is just a horrible matchup for him

I actually agree with this Floyd did look small against Baldy, Judah, Oscar, this is the 1st time I've ever seen him use his own size in a fight, he did to Shane what Shane thought he'd do to him!

                  You gotta keep some perspective.

He only started looking good when Shane stopped punching. Shane looked as gunshy to me as Roy did against Hopkins.

Floyd fought a decent fight, but 38 is 38. When Shane Mosley starts breathing through his mouth in the 4th round, you know he's shot to ****.

You guys can keep overrating wins against shot/small/or old fighters Floyd carefully selects, but boxing fans that know the sport can see the truth.

If that was a prime Mosley he would've stopped Floyd in the 2nd round.

Having said that, I'll go on record to say that if Floyd fights Martinez its a more meaningful and better legacy fight than Pacquiao.

Not only because Martinez is bigger than Pacquiao, but because he's better than Pacquiao.
