Everybody is just clamoring for Pacquiao to fight Mayweather, but I don't really see what the hoopla about the fight is. Anytime Clottey threw any punches he hit the target every single time. Floyd actually fights back.

I've always thought Pacquiao was an A-level fighter and still do, but he's not beating Floyd Mayweather. Not then, not now, not ever. I see Paul Williams giving Floyd a better fight, but people don't demand that fight because Floyd did what was asked of him at 147. I also think Devon Alexander belongs in the discussion of who could give Floyd a run for his money. Say what you want about him being a 140 lber, but Floyd praised the guy out of the blue for a reason.

Im not trying to take away from Floyd victory tonight because Shane was the best fight to make at 147, imo. He simply didn't deserve to be ranked #3.
Whoever you have in your top 5, top ten, whatever, I can dissect their recent wins and discredit them the same way.

Unless Floyd beats Pac or Pac loses, i dont see any reason why Floyd should be #1 P4P......Both are dominating thier opponents and unless the only way the standing should change is a fight between #1 and #2

I dont see any of those named beating him, even Paul Williams, I just dont, can easily give reasons. Marquez had no problem hitting Pacquiao either.

You're dreaming-lol. Manny didn't want none of Mosely, and none of Floyd-now we all see why! Floyd is coming off of back to back wins over 2 top 2-3 P4P fighters (when he was retired for 2 years),but somehow you think Floyd will retire... it's been a while since Manny has faced a top 10 P4P fighter at all,let alone a top 3....

I see williams giving him a great fight and that would be a great matchup beacuse williams is a freak of nature and you never know with him....But Niether Floyd nor Pac want any part of Williams, hence the reason he is extremely avoided in WW

By the was, thank you for acting like a man and at least explaining your opinion.
I would have ignorantly kept him at #5 of welterweights or so (can't consider all classes, I'll be thinking for too long), and I stress ignorantly b/c I would have never guessed he would have tired out so early in this fight. A 15 month layoff could have played into that, the age could have played into that, I don't know what happened. I do know Shane has had stamina problems before, but the rapid decrease from Round 2, was startling.

Have at it. Before tonight I would have had Shane at number 6 p4p.

                    1. Pac
                    2. Floyd
                    3. Williams
                    4. Dawson
                    5. Hop
                    6. Shane

You *****s get in such an uproar if someone points something out you take as derogatory. 6 is an excellent position in the p4p ranking and a much more accurate placement for Shane in my opinion. #3 just isn't justifiable to me.

But if you really think Im just trying to put Floyd down.....go ahead and make an argument.

Pac can't beat Floyd.. (coming from a Pac fan's mouth)

you don't need a skillful boxer to beat Floyd! you just need a guy who throw a hundred punches Like Pacquiao and has the reach of Klitchko's arm..

                      that'll be

                      = Paul "the punisher" Williams
