Has anyone ever beaten 15 world champions while remaining undefeated? I can't think of anyone who has.

That said, SRR is on a different level. Even if Floyd beat Mosley and Pacquiao I still wouldn't rank him above SRR. He would be top 5 all-time though.
    Floyd's not even 41-0 yet.

Julio Caesar Chavez Jr. is 41-0.

I guess according to some of these guys he's greater than both Floyd and SRR, but tonight Floyd has a chance to tie JCC Jr.'s legacy.

The only thing Margarito has over him is the incredible work rate, and I'm not taking away from that win I thought that was an incredible win for Shane, 1 dimensional or not no one has ever done that to Margarito before because despite having no defense he's also had one of the most iron chins ever and Shane annihilated him.
vargas was a smart box-fighter in his day, i'm a big fan of nando since he beat yori boy campas and i love the fight with wink back then. used to have lots of arguments about that fight with folk on another board. excellent fight.

however the vargas that fought shane had slowed up quite considerably. he had got KTFO by both tito and oscar. they were damaging losses. against shane, unfortunately, he pretty much was a straightforward bully. he tried to manhandle shane. his defence wasn't much better than tony's and shane hit him a lot but it was a competitive fight. my original point was that you're syaing margarito was tailor made for shane, i'm saying by that logic vargas was too. i just hate ppl discrediting that victory, it seems unjust to me (meaning shane over margs)

so, back when vargas and shane fought vargas had some success by roughing shane up and using his size and strength.. a couple times cotto did too... wink walked shane down in their first fight. mayorga had periods of sucess with burst of aggression. yet after shane beats marg and looks phenomenal all i seem to hear is Marg was made for shane. it was supposed to be easy.

well as for your last statement: I can't speak for others but on a previous account of mine I have a thread made the day before the shane/marg fight that explicitly states that Shane will "destroy Margarito". I predicted Shane to 100% annihilate Margarito with a brutal destruction so while what you say may be true for others (bandwagon jumpers etc) I for one DID always see Margarito as tailor made for Shane and not just in retrospect.
Not saying I'm nostradamus or even a great boxing predictor (I predicted Hatton to DESTROY and annihilate Pacman for example) but that's one fight that was very obvious to me.

No not even close, but as an ATG he'll move up the list. I'd say Floyd is top 30 right now.

hmm well good call on it anyway, 90 per cent of ppl laughed when shane said he was going to stop margarito (i wasnt one of them, but i did think it would be a close hard fight for shane)

the way mayweather looked against hatton for the first 5 or 6 rounds, plus his underwhelming victory over a faded oscar, lead me to believe shane -with his speed, fighting spirit, aggression, power and physicality, not to mention with the added tactical nous of Richardson - has a very good chance tonight. my 2 cents.

That's the point I was trying to make. JCC Jr. is 41-0 but he has only fought bums. His dad, JCC Sr., started out his career 89-0-1, but the average quality of his opposition was low. Mayweather has only had 40 fights so far, but he has fought more championship-level opponents in those 40 fights than JCC Sr. did in his first 90 fights.
