I am no fan of Mayweather the man, but DEFINITELY am a fan of Mayweather the fighter. So this is not being biased at all. to say that he's better than SRR is IMPOSSIBLE even close to blasphemy to consider it.

SRR is unsurpassable. The best Floyd could be is #2 when everything is said and done.

No and he never will, SRR didn't wait until a midget surpassed his accomplishments to do what he was SUPPOSED TO DO: fighting the current best WW fighter in the world.
And don't start with that Baldomir and Judah being number one and number 2. I agree with that but it was in ****ing 2006, 4 years later he still didn't fight any legit welterweights.

you just can't surpass SRR. period. it's not favoritism towards fighters of the past era, it's not a romanticized notion of the golden era, it's the simple fact that SRR fought way too many times, fought way too many top fighters, hof'ers and ATG's, beat way too many of them, and did it with way too much skill and class. Floyd will simply never surpass a guy who has close to 200 wins, many of them against the best of his or any other era. PERIOD.

Floyd can have a trilogy with Shane and destroy him each time by KO 1 and then have another trilogy against Pacquiao and destroy him each time with another 1st round KO and he'll still won't even be close to SRR.
