Sturm is OK, but he wont be a champ as long as Taylor and Winky are at 160...Mark my words, unless Taylor gets stripped for some reason after he beats on Hopkins...

Actually yes..it was a hard fight. As much as you want to make yourself believe that It was a 120-108... it wasn't so get over it!

Sturm has some excellent mechanics, but lets see him against a top guy in 160...maybe Antwan Echols could boost his recognition. He's still a name and can **** a bit, but no longet a huge threat.

Maybe if you watch the Sturm DLH fight just one more time it might be a blow out...........oh wait.... it will still be the same fight. hahaha.

One of the reason Sturm is being (I think) avoided is because he's one of those "big risk, small reward" type fighter. Similar to how many avoided JMM in the featherweight division (which some people think including both Morales and Barrera). So even if he prove himself up (which I think he did enough to earn a title fight), there's still the "name" issue.

I want to see Sturm against any of these guys:

              Soliman
              Ikeke
              Eastman

If he beats any of those guys, he should get the Hopkins/Taylor winner or Winky...

If I could remember correctly, Hopkins stated (right after the Wright-Trinidad) that a match against Winky is really doubtful. If Wright-Hopkins is very doubtful, just imagine what he thinks about Sturm-Hopkins. But if Taylor wins, I can see him willing to take on Sturm. But not before taking possibly Winky.

I don't know why people keeps under estimating him. Felix sturm is a GREAT fighter. I am willing to pay bucks to watch him fight.
