Sam Sexton’s withdrawal from a proposed showdown with British heavyweight champion Danny Williams, which was due to take place on the 15th of May at Upton Park, has seen Derek ‘Del Boy’ Chisora, 12-0 (7 early), handed a chance to vie for Williams’ Lonsdale belt according to BoxingScene.com’s sources. Sexton was due to put his Commonwealth belt on the line in a dual title showdown but must now sit on the sidelines as Chisora, who defeated Sexton by sixth round TKO in 2008, gets first crack at the increasingly fragile looking Williams. Williams is beyond shot and Chisora is a horrific hypejob bum. Typical brit bum heavyweight fight. -
Chisora is the perfect replacement for Sexton.
I would never count old Danny out, he's tricky with the head butts. Maybe Chisora will take a bite out of his ear, like he did to a past opponent.

nice replacement & it only made sense to make the fight since neither had an opponent.I've got most of chisora & sextons fights.both are solid domestic fighters but I'd say sexton has accomplished more but Im not sure who is better.Williams has had a solid career but his time is running out.never count him out but he's ripe for the picking.chisora has really not been in any trouble in his fights.sexton has been on the canvas & wobbled several times by lesser opponents.I'm not sold on his chin yet but the thing that really worries me about sexton is his reach of 71" is rather short for a guy his size.he eats alot of leather because of it & when he starts fighting tall, rangy heavyweights with power he could be in trouble....time will tell if sexton or chisora are the real thing or pretenders.aging danny Williams is a good test.sexton won prizefighter & ended rogan's Cinderella story.Comment
