I hope I am wrong but I don't think Bob Arum, Freddie Roach
and Manny Pacquiao want to get in the ring with Floyd and
Mosley. Too good and still too fresh for Pac.

        outcome?

its a forgone conclusion. floyd by excruciatingly boring, potshotting, running unanimous decision.

i feel sorry for floyd fans & especially new mainstream boxing fans that get turned off whenever they watch floyd fight.

its just bad for the sport.

          1. Manny has never been caught doing anything illegal to gain an
advantage, so everything up until now is just speculation. For him
to take the tests and come out clean will help his career and legacy
then not doing it and leaving a "?" on his name.

          2. Manny taking the test would rule out that he was cheating and
give everyone the fight that WE want to see. Who cares about
anything else as a boxing fan? If that is what is needed to make
the fight happen, then why can't he just do it? shane did and he
is an admitted cheater. Floyd agreed to an unheard of 10MIL over
          the 147LB limit.

3.Why do we have to speculate if Pac is on roids or not? If I was
Floyd and thought, felt or heard that there is a possibility that Manny
could be on some sort of enhancement then I would request a test too.
WE have to remember that WE don't know what goes on behind the
scenes in the sport of boxing. If Manny would have just said "NO" to
the tests, then fine BUT to make up so many excuses not to take
the test is suspect AND if I am Floyd, I would not step in the ring
with anyone if I wasn't confident that they were playing on a even
          field.

Just imagine if people took the time out to check thoroly
the Resto-Collins fight? Or Cotto's people thoroly check
Marg and paid attention before the fight happened? We
would not be unsure whether or not Marg cheated for
Cotto. Bottomline is, Manny, should just take the tests
and proved the world what hard work is about and try to
shut up Floyd Mayweather Jr! On that note. Can't wait
          till the fight tonight Mayweather/Mosley.
I agree with your statement except for one thing.Suppose Pac takes the tests, passes the test and loses the fight which is what will likely happen. Then many will wonder if he lost because he wasn't able to roid up.Really after he started making all of those B.S. excuses as to why he can't take the tests, he put him self in a damn near no win situation with one helluva payday to go with it!

I don't like what I see from Clottey late in the fight but I did like what I saw from Berto late in the fight against Collazo. But, I think it would be a very close fight.

I like the young Floyd when he fought Chico (obviously more exciting). The only thing exciting about him today is when he works the pads with his uncle. But hey, a win is a win and that's all that matters to him no matter how boring, ugly or pretty the outcome. I respect him for sticking to the game plan & not changing for boxing fans that expects kos. He's like the spurs compared to the lakers. Boring, but they get the job done.

I'm not going to resuscitate the same usual, endless debates here. People pretty much made up their minds already. So let's just agree to disagree.

My response to this is if Pac loses (with OST in place), then there's a possibility that Team Pac would offer excuses why they lost the fight, ie, Pac weakened by Count Dracula constantly appearing without notice. I don't see the point of enjoying such fight where one fighter is made to be weakened. If that is fair, I'm not even going to see it.

Grustler should have just said if a jr. welterweight, who struggled with top notch fighters in that class, moved up 3 classes to middleweight and started dominating and knocking fighters out, then people would be su****ous. But since it's the beloved Pacquiao, who can do no wrong, everybody is saying Floyd is scared for requesting Olympic-style testing.

Let's just hope the fight happens so everybody will be satisfied.

how would only 1 fighter be weakened from both fighters taking blood tests?

Yeah i agree, I cant understand the mindset of a boxer who goes into a ring and doesnt stay 1 place so the other guy can hit him freely either. That stuff makes for a boring fight!
