He loses some marketability but will still be a PPV force. If he loses his marketability it's his own fault. He advertised his 0 way too much.

      see floyd vs castillo 1.

best believe floyd will not give credit to shane if somehow miraculously beats him.

Should he lose in a bad way and just get blown out, I will question how good he really was and if his success was more a product of careful selection than great ability.

If he loses a close fight then he is an outstanding fighter still and it just wasn't his night tomorrow night. In which case I am sure he could justify in his mind that he should have won and bounce back.

If he just gets crushed IDK if he can, its seems his whole basis for self belief is that his plan has never failed him and thus he is the best as a result. If it does fail and in miserable fashion he may have no more rational basis for his belief in his own ability and just retire.

Floyd doesnt deserve a credit even if he wins. He Cowardly evaded Shane for almost 10 years. That a shame. He also duck other contenders.

I'm 100% sure in saying this,

Losing will only do Mayweather good. I'd be lying if I said I didn't think that 0 plays a role in how Mayweather performs in the ring. But anyway, he isn't gonna lose.
