    If Floyd Loses...

What does it do to his career...To me, his appeal or marketability is the fact that he is undefeated...If he loses that 0, would anyone really care what direction his career would go in after that?

Still a hall of famer...his ego may be crushed...or if its controversial he may dispute it forever...or until he gets a rematch...

Floyd really got about 3 or 4 more fights in him anyway so at this point it's wouldn't do much to hurt his marketability unless he gets man handled by Mosley that is

If floyd losses, then i know he was just an over hype fighter that cherry pick his opponents to get from where he is, he shouldn't lose to his grandpa opponent.

Floyd has gained great fame because he has gone undefeated while adding names like the late great Diego Corrales, Castillo twice, The late great Arturo Gatti, Judah, Oscar, Hatton, etc; to his olympic medal. Its a lot of fighters that are undefeated right now but they don't have the respect Floyd gets.

if floyd loses, be prepared for him to blame it on some phantom injury that he suffered during the fight.

                  see floyd vs castillo 1.

best believe floyd will not give credit to shane if somehow miraculously beats him.

it depends on HOW he loses...I think he becomes a even bigger draw with a lost or 2....to capture the hearts of the casuals the way Ali did....he must come back from some type of adversity or set back.....he has to be DOUBTED....right now he's the betting favorite all the time....so a lost could see the bad guy image gone and the birth of the character Floyd REALLY wants....the Good Guy!!.....Floyd is running the course with his bad guy stunts....**** is gettin' old.....a lost could help his image makeover ALOT imo
