Please, styles make fights. Cotto doesn't fight the same way as KT fights. While Ricky was effective against Kostya, he still doesn't have what it takes to fight a good, accurate counterpuncher like Miguel Cotto or Floyd Mayweather. The fact remains that Ricky is still a club fighter. He comes to you, applies pressure, has little defense, and relies on his workrate to tire you out. Any fighter that can side step him, counter, use his jab, and work on the inside will have an advantage over that type of fighter. Kostya was just too old to be able to do so effectively.

As for Cotto's power and not hurtin Abbie, see my above response.
I never questioned Abbie's chin. He took enough clean shots to know that he could handle Cotto's power and should have taken a few risks to get his shots off.

Hatton's already beaten a good counterpuncher in Magee. Cotto is far from elusive and he's blatantly too slow to be able to dance around Hatton and pot-shot him. Hatton has quicker feet and hands and will corner him without too much trouble. Cotto has looked uncomfortable every time he's been put under pressure and if he curls up in a ball on the ropes like he did in the Abbie fight then it's game over.
