He didn't get exposed. Infact, up until the point where he got caught, he looked real sharp. It's just something I figured. His chin wasn't really tested before and he was KO'ing a lot of bums, YES, BUMS. Huge step up in class. Montiel is no joke and the dude obviously don't give a **** if he has to come to your own country to whoop your ass just to make statements. He's done it numerous times and this was no different. I expected him to put a beat down similar to the Filipino he KO'd in 1 that was being hailed as a possible Pacquiao? LOL.

How can you say 'Zumi got exposed ? What the f**k was Montiel doin' prior to that left hook ?

****, Hasegawa actually won the 3rd round. The first two rounds were simply feel out rounds, and both guys showed alot of respect, that's why it was boring, really.

You don't know what overhyped/overrated is.

The only one that hyped him was me and even then he got no media attention. The ring didn't even put him top 10 p4p. So how hyped was he?

So, again.... you don't know what overhyped/overrated is.

Blind hate gets you no where esse.

Your the same dude who was calling Hozumi a bum on another Montiel thread.

            Now you change your tune?

Hasegawa didn't get exposed, he just lost to a very good fighter. However, it could be said that a flaw in his game was exploited by Montiel.

In terms of overrated, he was starting to get a little overrated, IMO. I'm not saying this because he just lost, I had mentioned this to jrosales some time ago. As I said, Hasegawa is a very good fighter, it's just that people put him on a certain level that I don't think he had reached yet. People started calling him unbeatable at the weight and that he would destroy everyone at bantamweight, which is a very good division. He hadn't beat any of the top contenders and hadn't earned those accolades, IMHO.

I thought if he had beaten Montiel, he deserved to be there, but that's obviously not the case.

these days when a fighter loses he's a bum all of a sudden. there's no such thing as a good fighter losing to the better man anymore i guess.

please, he's taken flush shots from a puncher like veerapol sahaprom. If hasegawa can stay in an ideal weight range and not have to take off 20+ pounds he should be fine. Hasegawa will own him in a rematch, he gets exponentailly better after a loss and in rematches as well.
