I think it was pretty harsh to take the award away from Floyd. He is one of the most skillfull fighters to ever step into the ring, was P4P for the whole decade and fought a raft of good fighters including Chico, Castillo, Hatton, DLH, Judah, Baldomir throughout 5 different classes.

He also had one of the best championships runs at 130 you'll ever see.

he can, if he wins convincingly over mayweather, and take on pacquiao later in the year. Wins over these two will surely give him the fighter of the year, and will be a strong candidate for fighter of the decade, even if he has very few fights the past several years, especially when he went on his temporary retirement.

That's just because he's to good. Mayweather would probably have beaten both Marquez and past prime Morales.... Pacquiao deserved fighter of the decade though.
