This is the problem about some boxing fans. Just accept the loss man. You could say that about every boxing match then I guess, it was just a "gotcha" win huh?

Why are Montiel fans happy with a "gotcha" win?

1 second left, is less than desireable but I can understand why it was stopped the way it was.
stoppage was right... a little later could have possibly cause him his life. that is boxing man

No it wouldn't. I'm okay with the loss but no one can say that(in bold). 1 second left, not even real seconds, milliseconds. He wasn't going to get anything else off, right when the ref jumped in it was basically round over.

I just hope that it's an immediate rematch as in Montiel's next fight is Hozumi Hasegawa. Because I don't want Montiel to possibly lose the belt or get in a fight where people can say he is over the hill/not the same anymore.
